Hello Kitty Double Scoop

Friday my friend Mary O. of Black Kitten Accessories and I went to our local Sanrio store (or as we call it The Hello Kitty Store) initially just to buy some stickers, but ended up with a little more! It is just so hard to resist the cute! I picked up some super kawaii hello kitty and friends candies and gum as well as a bag of random Japanese sweets for SabotenCon as well as this adorable Hello Kitty cell phone charm! It is about the size of my phone, but the fact that Hello Kitty's arms and feet are poking out of the bottom ice cream scoop cracked me up to no end. I simply could not resist. I'm excited to use my phone now simply to see the ice cream cone hanging from it ;P

I think preparing for SabotenCon has just given me a HUGE excuse to indulge in my love of all things Japanese...and I'm not complaining! ;P Maybe it will be the kick in the bum I need to try learning Japanese again!
